Nokia implements new features for S60 on Symbian OS. S60 will introduce new features that enhance the user experience on S60 devices, and allow manufacturers, developers and carriers to design new types of mobile devices and applications and services.
S60 touch user interface comes with support for tactile feedback, which means that there is a physical pulse and feedback when the user taps on the screen. This provides better awareness of the device’s response.
These technologies will be available to all manufacturers in 2008.

Though both already have had upgrade, Sprint and HTC have finally seen fit to bless the Touch and Mogul with the New windows mobile 6.1 .
In the case of the Touch, the Windows Mobile 6.1 update includes Sprint Navigation, EV-DO Rev. A, integrated Opera, and a new on-screen QWERTY keyboard, so it seems more than worth the few minutes you’ll spend downloading it and getting it all going. The Mogul gets Sprint TV , but unfortunately, no patch to magically morph it into a Touch Pro. Seriously, we’d pay good money for that.
Windows users are finding an unexpected addition to their Control Panels. A link for “MobileMe Preferences” has begun appearing at the bottom of the Control Panel screens of those who have installed the latest Apple iTunes software — according to one user, without any notification at all.
The MobileMe preference panel has also been reported to be showing up in Windows XP as well.
MobileMe does feature Vista compatibility, and the most recent update to iTunes, version 7.7, added functionality necessary for iTunes to work with the service — although it is not necessary to sync information.
Users have not yet revealed whether they’ve discovered a method to remove the MobileMe icon without uninstalling iTunes 7.7 altogether.

Apple has increased its orders of printed-circuit boards for notebooks by 20 percent, compared to last quarter.
Macs are selling quite good, but that’s a stronger boost than would be expected from the usual seasonal patterns, and it’s unlikely that Apple would be planning for that kind of boost unless it planned to trot out new hardware this quarter.
Apple values the back-to-school shopping season more than just about any other PC company. Last year, it unveiled new iMacs in early August, just before the rush back to college. Given that the MacBook design is aging, the time seems about right for Apple to bring the aluminum casing on the MacBook Pro and MacBook Air to the MacBook line.

Apple has introduced a new iPhone 3G dock to the Apple Store. It features a scooped-out front section so you can reach the home button, and it has a couple of grill-covered audio conduits to route the sound from the speakers and enable speakerphone calls.
For many, dropping $199 / $299 on an iPhone 3G (provided you actually locate one not hidden behind a 4+ hour line) is enough. For those who fell head over heels with the original iPhone dock, it’s not. Here’s your chance to send 29 more US bucks Cupertino’s way, as the official iPhone 3G Dock is now on sale at Apple’s website. Oh, and if you’re really a sucker, you’ll lay down 9 whole US dollars for a 3-pack of iPhone 3G Universal Dock Adapters to slip your new mobile into a Universal Dock.
